Yeeha!! received my bluray liteon Model :ihes208 internal drive (http://www.amazon.com/Liteon-8X-DVDrw-Sata-Retail/dp/B00266P3EY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1245659072&sr=8-2) .. So now I can go ahead and rip some of my personal bluray movies so that I can watch on my Dvico 6500a.

- Bluray Liteon Internal Drive
My next step is to look for a program to do these rippings… Which after much researching found that “AnyDvd HD” is the program to purchase and test out. You can purchase it from here http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvdhd.html. After installation immediately took out my small bluray movie collection to choose which to rip first.

My blu-ray collection...
I choose Chris Botti – Boston and 2001 Space Odyssey to rip. To tell you the thruth eventhough I have a blu-ray small collection, i have never watch them because I don’t have a bluray player with me. I just collect them as to me its not worth buying DVD anymore. So now the next best thing is with the power of the new Dvico beta firmware i be able to watch this full rips without any problems.
Put in the bluray into the drive…
Click on the fox logo at your taskbar and click on settings. You need to set the software to remove bluray region code. (This is the only time to do this)….
Settings
Than hit the fox logo on the taskbar again to start ripping.. you got two choices .. Rip as a image (will come out in iso format) or Rip as is, with directories and files to hard disk… I be trying both ways for testing on the Dvico 6500a.
Ok so once you click on either one option the software will start running…Averagely I notice it will take more than 78minutes for a full rip on a normal Bluray to your hard drive.
After your done you will either get a iso image file .. (example 2001.iso) or normal bluray files and directories in your hard drive. What i have notice from my testing with the dvico 6500a. The two ISO files i made fail terribaly with a lot of stutering. However the other full rip (with bdmv folder and certificates folders) work brilliantly.
Iso format or Directories & Files Format
Inside a Files & Directories format ripping
Totally glad I purchase the software and hardware to do this rippings as now i can enjoy bluray movies ……..
For 2001 Space Odyssey total size of file was 34.9GB
For Chris Botti Live in Boston size of file was 36.6GB
Here’s the example of what the software is doing while ripping.. I am ripping Blade runner Final Director cut and David foster and friend bluray …

I read it somewhere that Tvix can play BD ISO with some limitation on the number of play. Does it has anything to do with your BD ISO stutering? or just a bad rip (BD ISO)?
Sorry for asking, can bdmv folder keep all the BD menu, sub, audio track like BD itself? As I would like to rip my BD collection as well either bdmv or ISO… BD ISO will be better, I presume…

BDMV rip will rip everything that is in the bluray disc.. nothing escapes it.. diretory and files will be intact…
of course iso will be neater however some iso will not run well on the dvico 6500a
