Diyomate S6T

Introduction:

Today we be looking at the Diyomate S6T media player. A slim media players that has two usb inputs and a media slot for memory cards to access your media.  Using the Realtek 1073DD chipset, same as many other brands ie asus,ac-ryan and himedia.  Realtek chips are fast popping up everywhere, rumour is that realtek is much friendlier with manufacturer partners in that they give out thei SDK for free and willing to listen to and modify when needs arises. That’s more you can say about the sigma bad boys.

Diyomate S6T remote

Remote has two very nice buttons. Thats the 4:3 ratio or 16:9 quick buttons. Where when you press it the diyomate will set the display output  ratio straight away without u going into setup or hitting video keys on the remote a number of times. This is great when you have normal dvd or 480/576 media you need to watch.

Next will be your home screen…Where you will be able to choose three buttons -

1. File Copy – able to move or copy files to another harddrive or network hard drive

2. Browser – to choose media files from your various storage facilities

You are able to choose different storage choices. DVD will be a usb dvd player connector to the Diyomate.  Net when highlighted and activated you will be able to enter into various network computers that is available. However I was not able to connect to one of my windows 7 machine. Although the Windows Home server connection was not a problem.

Diyomate has made the process very easy and fast, even giving a on screen keyboard to key in your password and user id when required.
